We, at Boxer Haven Rescue, love Boxers!  We believe they are truly a perfect companion.  They are lively, loyal, loving and just plain fun.  However, the Boxer is NOT the ideal breed for everyone.  The same qualities and characteristics that endear them to those who love them, may make them unsuitable for some households.

Boxer Haven Rescue is a private, all volunteer foster—home dog rescue program in Michigan.  We find homes for the Boxers and Boxer mixes that have found themselves abandoned, surrendered and homeless.

NAME: Duce
GENDER: Male
AGE: 6 months

 

 

 

MESSAGE:
Duce’s owners said that he fell down a flight of stairs and broke his leg.  He has had a very intense surgery and needs your help!  Any donations would be greatly appreciated.  Unfortunately the break required surgery and could not just be cased.  Duce is nothing but a LOVER.  His foster mom says that he is a gentle, sweet boy.  He has a lot of recovering to do before he is back on all four again.  But he will make the PERFECT dog for the PERFECT home.  Oh yeah, one more thing.  He is deaf, but don’t let that stop you...deaf dogs are just as trainable!  Duce is a quick learner, and would do anything for an ounce of love!
